The Data Center of the Science and Technology Park in Opole is co-creating the Polish Cloud as part of the Polish Data Center Association.
Polish Cloud is an agreement of leading Polish cloud service providers. Their mission is educating and familiarizing the market with cloud solutions, which is one of the foundations of the digital transformation of the country.

Polish Cloud was created on the initiative of Polish Association of Data Processing Centers, as a response to the growing needs of businesses and institutions in the topic of secure data processing.
MISSION
The mission of the Polish Data Center Association is to look after the good interests of Polish data centers and to encourage Polish companies and public institutions to use data center IT outsourcing. This goal is achieved by building a positive image of this sector of business services and demonstrating the benefits of data center-based solutions.
GOALS
- Protecting the interests of Polish data processing centers
- Encouraging Polish businesses and public institutions to use data processing centers and influencing legislative processes by supporting draft laws that favor the development of our service sector,
- Countering the monopolistic practices of software providers, especially multinational corporations that place restrictions on licensing and auditing of the IT environment,
- Raise awareness of the importance of the Polish data center market in the activities of the government and local administrations by demonstrating the impact of building this modern branch of the economy on the development of other related sectors within Poland (energy, construction, skilled services) and the associated fiscal benefits for the further development of the country,
- Strengthen the position of Polish data center enterprises in competitive external markets, so that such exports begin to play an important role in their further development, through cooperation with government agencies promoting the Polish economy,
- Public Relations - building a good image of our industry in the media and representing its interests to the outside world,
- Service as a purchase - lobbying for changes in accounting for the VAT rate within IT services,
- To educate and spread knowledge about modern solutions built on the services offered by data centers.
